VSA Partners is welcoming creative technology leader Michael Moroney to take the helm of its Technology Practice. Amidst VSA’s growing portfolio of leading technology clients, including Google, Bloomberg, Alibaba Group, IBM, Allstate’s Arity, and NVIDIA, and its leadership in technology solutions for clients from McDonald’s to Carnegie-Mellon, Moroney’s expertise will further VSA’s position as the leading branding and marketing firm at the intersection of data, design and technology. Moroney will report to William Rosen, CEO at VSA Partners.
Most recently, Moroney was Managing Director at Genuine New York, the IPG creative, technology and media agency. Prior, Moroney was Chief Creative Technologist & Executive Director of Integrated Production at Atmosphere Proximity BBDO. He was also CTO at A.W.A.L. (Artists Without A Label), one of the first digital download music services, which sold over 50 million singles via Apple’s iTunes, Amazon and eMusic.

Michael’s impressive career is rooted deeply in blending technology with design across a wide range of clients, including Samsung, Nike, Google and Ford Motors. Most notable throughout his career are his efforts helping to launch The Gap and Virgin Records first online presences, as well as recent award winning work with Visa, HP and Audible. Moroney has lectured at UC Berkeley, The NYU School of Professional Studies and The Stanford Business School, and has been a featured speaker at Ad:Tech, CES, OnMedia and OMMA conferences.
