Kimberly-Clark’s Kleenex brand and VSA Partners have won best-in-show at the Association of National Advertisers’ (ANA) 2015 Multicultural Excellence Awards.
In their 15th year, the Multicultural Excellence Awards recognize marketers and their agencies for producing inspiring and industry-leading multicultural advertising programs. This year’s competition received 197 entries, and only 10 were named best-in-show.
Kleenex and VSA created the “Time for a Change” campaign, which tells stories of how a gesture of care can connect and uplift us all. The award was given to Kleenex and VSA in the “People with Disabilities” category. The specific spot, called “Unlikely Best Friends,” featured a lively two-legged dog and the relationship with his wheelchair-bound owner.
“To know that our work has struck an emotional chord with lots and lots of people—that’s everything,” says Bob Winter, Partners and Executive Creative Director at VSA Partners. “On behalf of our entire team, we are so honored and thankful for this recognition.”
