VSA’s Designing Change practice grew as a natural extension of our Strategy practice in response to clients’ evolving brand and category challenges. Our practice recognizes design as a method for creating organizational change. We partner with leadership inside our clients’ organizations to imagine, craft and execute design-driven change management strategies. The solutions we design are always people-first and outcome-oriented.
As a Senior Strategist within Designing Change, you are responsible for partnering with clients to help clarify their business and brand challenges, identify opportunities to create new and meaningful value, and design and implement change strategies that drive real business results.
This role involves working in close partnership with a Fortune 50 home category leader, with additional opportunities to work across the breadth of VSA’s client portfolio.

- 5-7 years of experience in brand, change management, strategic communications, or management consulting with strong B2B focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, communications, business administration, or related degree that requires critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated recognition of growth potential from previous employers, with progressive career advancement.
- Experience developing and implementing brand strategies, business transformation initiatives and/or marketing communications.
- Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to translate abstract ideas into tangible concepts.
- Experience framing B2B challenges in proposals and/or briefs to help others more clearly understand an opportunity and imagine a way forward.
- Proven track record of presenting information to executive-level clients.
- Comfort with ambiguity.
- Desire to take part in shaping a growth engine insides a medium-sized services business.
- Strong interest in, if not passion for, design as a business solution.
- Workshop design and facilitation experience desired, but not required.
- Willing to travel up to 10%.
