A little bit about the VSA Summer AtHometernship Program: If you’re looking for another bullet point on your resume, look elsewhere. At VSA, like much of what we do, we take our internship program seriously. This means our interns work on “real work,” with real meetings, deadlines, and business challenges from our brands and clients. This is the education you won’t get in a classroom. Consider it career practice, with the freedom to learn, make mistakes, refine, question and tag along. You’ll work with an individual manager and a group of mentors in an outstanding cross-disciplinary environment focused on brand, communications, marketing, and digital. As part of the larger program, you’ll take part in intern meetings, team outings, activities, and initiatives (can you say networking?). And yes, it’s paid, with an hourly rate, for 40 hours/week, on-site. It starts June 7th. Bet you can’t wait for summer.

Our Talent Management AtHometern will help manage daily recruiting needs, schedule talent interviewing and onboarding, support Recruiters and learn to source freelance and full-time talent and help maintain accurate data in our talent systems. We are looking for empathetic humans with a high EQ and an eagerness to learn. Our recruiting process is one that is focused on creating the best experience for our candidates and hiring managers. We treat our talent like guests in our home and facilitate a transparent interview process so participants have as much information to decide if VSA is the right place for them.

• Serve as our Day One person, scheduling and facilitating interviewing and onboarding of new full-time and freelance hires
• Assist Director in the management of talent acquisition process, data capture, and candidate experience
• Support Director of resource management in time tracking, reporting and project staffing
• Learn to source full-time and contract talent for a variety of practice areas including design, strategy, project management, client engagement, writing, content, and strategy
• Support the team in maintaining the integrity of data in iCIMS, our applicant tracking system and OpenAir our Resource Management tool
• Supervise timesheet compliance and provide reports to improve compliance
• Respond to both internal and external inquiries about employment opportunities and the recruiting process
• Coordinate and run candidates’ interviews, helping ensure a positive experience overall
• Participate in special projects or task forces as opportunities arise
• Participate in weekly talent team meetings to help support recruiting efforts and process
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

• There's no such thing as a degree in Recruiting or Resource Management so a genuine interest in Talent Management and people is required. Course studies in Communications and General Business are applicable. This role is very different from HR so if that's what you're studying, this is probably not the right internship.
• All the Microsoft Office Suite skills
