From quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, digital behavior, trend-spotting, media and retail insights, Palmer’s 30-plus years of experience have inspired creative branding and activation strategies for some of the world’s most iconic brands. Since joining VSA in 2012, Palmer has been instrumental in the agency’s growth, integrating design thinking and marketing science to help shape a new agency model. Prior to VSA, Palmer was EVP, Global Strategy Director at Leo Burnett USA, where he led strategy for Coca-Cola, MillerCoors, Travelocity, Purina, Nintendo, Fifth Third Bank and others. He was previously Chief Strategy Officer for Leo Burnett Detroit, leading strategy on the global General Motors business. His work has been recognized with the industry’s top awards including multiple Cannes Gold Lions, and Gold and Silver Effies.
