Dana Arnett recently provided his thoughts on San Francisco for a unique collaboration between Kit Hinrichs of Studio Hinrichs and HP Graphic Arts, called SF Views: 15 Designers Give Impressions of the City. Hinrichs asked 15 designers across the United States to share their thoughts of the food, sights and styles of his home city, which were published as a series of cards and a poster. Each designer was illustrated or photographed in a unique and iconic manner.
Arnett’s card—illustrated by Zach Trenholm and printed on Neenah Classic Crest® Digital, Canyon Brown Stipple, 100 lb. cover—showed his choice of San Francisco landmark: The Fillmore, iconic venue for the “San Francisco Sound.”
The poster and cards were distributed to attendees at the HOW Conference in June 2013, as an introduction to the new HP 10000 Indigo Digital Press. Cards and posters are sold out, but limited-edition books collecting all portraits are available to purchase at Blurb.
