VSA Starts 2017 with New Agency Leadership

VSA Partners welcomes 2017 with leadership changes. Effective today, January 18, William Rosen will lead the company as Chief Executive Officer, and Curt Schreiber will take on the new role of Chief Design Officer and President. Rosen previously had served as Partner, Marketing Lead at VSA Partners, where he focused on expanding the firm’s marketing and data science capabilities. Within his five-year tenure, Rosen has attracted an impressive list of clients to VSA Partners, including AB InBev, Beam Suntory, Kimberly-Clark, and Kraft-Heinz, as well as noteworthy talent, including strategy lead, Patrick Palmer (previously EVP and Global Strategy Director at Leo Burnett), co-creative lead, Bob Winter (previously Executive Creative Director at CP&B’s Miami office), and data science lead, Charles Hammerslough (previously Director of Modeling for Obama of America), among others.

Prior to joining VSA Partners, Rosen served as President and Chief Creative Officer of North America for Arc Worldwide, Leo Burnett and Publicis Groupe’s global marketing company. In that role, he led the newly formed agency to AOR relationships with P&G, Coca-Cola, MillerCoors, and many others.

Dana Arnett, previously CEO at VSA Partners, will move to hold a new position as Vice Chairman and Founding Partner. Arnett’s focus will be geared toward upholding the agency’s longstanding design legacy through speaking and thought leadership, while developing client relationships. “I’ve had the good fortune of working with Bill during the most exciting and transformative period in VSA’s history,” says Arnett. “Bill will bring to the CEO position remarkable and broad industry experience; a deep understanding of global brands; and a passion for our people and the great work we do. I look forward to actively supporting Bill and the firm as we take VSA to the next level.”

Also crucial to VSA’s continued success is Curt Schreiber’s new role as Chief Design Officer and President. Schreiber has been with VSA Partners for 26 years, holding design leadership and client management roles over his tenure, while earning global accolades for his work with clients such as IBM, Harley-Davidson and Chicago Board of Trade. In 2015, Schreiber was featured in AIGA’s prestigious This is Chicago for his groundbreaking work and stewardship within the design community. As an acclaimed design leader, Curt will serve as the company’s first ever Chief Design Officer, ensuring that VSA upholds the standards of excellence upon which the firm was founded 32 years ago and its belief that design has the power to solve complex business problems.

Other leadership changes include the appointment of Patrick Palmer to lead Strategy, Eric Martinez will now be focused on leading an important new offering devoted to designing and leading change in our clients’ businesses and culture, Anne-Marie Rosser to spearhead Client Engagement, Jeff Walker promoted to Senior Partner and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors.
