VSA Partners has hired Meghan Grienenberger as Associate Partner and Media Director. Grienenberger will help the agency expand and advance its media capabilities, working within the Strategy Discipline to create effective media strategies across digital and traditional channels.
“Guided by Meghan’s expertise and diverse experience, VSA is ready to bring media solutions to our clients,” shared Patrick Palmer, Partner and Strategy Lead at VSA. “As we begin to expand our offerings in media, her exceptional understanding and insight into the media industry will undoubtedly prove to be an invaluable addition to our agency.”
VSA only recently began consulting in media, aiming to bring its strategy and creative work full-circle, purchasing over $30MM in media buys over the past two years. Grienenberger will spearhead the growth and development of this department, leading VSA to offer full media buying, planning and strategy for the first time.
Grienenberger comes to VSA from MBuy (a division of Mediaocean) where she held the position of VP of Media Operations, leading the media department. Before that, Grienenberger was Associate Media Director at Davis Harrison Dion, a B2B-focused, full-service agency and also held a Supervisor role at the large branding agency GSD&M. She’s worked with a vast range of clients, from financial services and e-commerce to CPG, including DreamWorks, US Air Force, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Bureau and Corner Bakery Cafe.
“What I’m most looking forward to in this new role is getting to blend media with creativity under one roof,” Grienenberger shared. “Coming from a media-only agency, it was a disadvantage not to be able to connect media optimizations with creative.”
VSA has seen a 60% new business win rate so far in 2017, and hopes that its media department will continue to bring holistic programs to clients.
