In a year of expansion to the West Coast, modern creative agency VSA Partners has brought on Bob Silverman as its Chief Financial Officer.
Silverman joins VSA Partners from Cramer-Krasselt where he was SVP, Director of Finance in their Chicago office. Prior to C-K, he was SVP, CFO at Energy BBDO and Global Finance Director at JWT.
“Bob is known across the industry as a tremendous talent and seasoned professional—we are beyond thrilled that he is bringing his insights and expertise to our team,” says William Rosen, CEO of VSA Partners. “His experience working hand-in-hand with clients allows him to approach finance matters from a very human perspective, and that’s something that will be incredibly valuable to our continued growth.”
“VSA has made many significant strides over the past several years, and I’m excited to help them continue on their growth trajectory,” shared Silverman. “The agency’s work is being brought to life in new and integrated ways and I believe in their vision of bringing together branding, marketing, data science and technology—especially as more and more clients begin to seek that one-stop-shop partner.”
VSA Partners also recently opened a third office location in San Francisco to compliment its New York office and Chicago headquarters. Continued growth in its relationship with several Bay Area clients, including with the West Coast arm of VSA’s longest-standing client, IBM helped inspire the third office location. VSA has also worked with other leading West Coast companies, including NVIDIA and Alibaba Group.
In early 2017, VSA welcomed a string of leadership changes, appointing Dana Arnett as Founding Partner, Vice Chairman; William Rosen as CEO; and Curt Schreiber as the agency’s first-ever President, Chief Design Officer.
Bob Silverman has a 30-plus year career in finance, and has worked in a range of industries, from legal to advertising. Read more on VSA’s new CFO in Crain’s People on the Move.
