In a world where there’s constantly pressure to “produce, produce, produce,” it’s important to stop and reflect on the special people, places and things that actually drive our creativity. Whenever possible, we like to sit down with one of our creative minds at VSA to find out what inspires them. Today, VSA Executive Assistant Emily Little sheds light on the four things that inspire her and help her do what she does.
1. My Planner
Aside from my obsession with Evernote, my Passion Planner is by my side all throughout the week. Packed with lists, thoughts, goals, bills and receipts, my planner is essential for getting me through even the craziest of weeks. It’s a great tool to help keep me organized and on track with my life and work.
2. My Studio
This is my studio where I work when I’m not in the office. It’s my space to be creative and stay inspired. Doing hair is fun for me, and helps keep my life balanced. I love creating new looks and giving a little boost of confidence to everyone that sits in my chair. Follow my journey on Instagram or visit my website.
3. My Nephew
It’s always nice to slow down from city life and spend time with my nephew, Warren. I drive out to Indiana to see him and the rest of my family on Sundays. It’s refreshing to enjoy family time before starting a long week of work. I love to watch Warren learn and see him grow up. He’s my special little nugget!
My favorite Danish Popstar, MØ. She started writing songs and learned that it was a good way for her to express herself, let out her emotions and reflect on who she is. Music an open space for her to be herself. This is empowering to me, and when I listen to her music, I’m inspired to express myself and make my passions a reality.
